Nearshore Hydrographic Surveying

With modern equipment, we perform Nearshore Hydrographic surveys to a high standard. Our equipment is adaptable to any vessel and whilst we usually charter a vessel, we also use local site workboats to reduce the cost to the client.

The survey output is available in any of the industry-accepted outputs (e.g. CAD, xyz, dxf) and, of course, in hardcopy.

We are extremely flexible and jobs ranging from surveys of small berths to surveys of whole harbours are within our capability. We can also provide positioning services, e.g. piles.

Land Surveying

Although our main area of business is hydrographic surveying, we also undertake small land surveys. We use modern equipment and the drawing output is also CAD. If you have a requirement for a land survey please contact us.

Marina and harbour dredge supervision

We have significant experience in dredge supervision, this includes pre and post surveys, payment volume calculations. Lymington Technical Services regularly conduct interim surveys for dredging contractors. A major advantage to clients is that we are independent from any individual dredging contractor. We can also act as the client’s representative on contractor’s surveys in order to witness the survey as required by many contracts.
